Its a bit confusuing because from Mendoza's coments you would think he was the one who had seen it and Klompton the one who was talking from ignorance,when actually the reverse is true.:huh

Yes, there are several historians, film makers, and boxing writers who have seen the film. They say it is Greb. Would they all be fooled

Yes the film was sent to a video expert for the Minnesota Police who matched things up.

Yes, I was given permission to see the film for myself, but it would require travel.

I can send you a PM on names who saw it. They all say it is Greb. They also say Klompton has not seen the film.

The owner of the film would likely not let Klompton see it. And I would not blame him as Klompton has been calling him a fraud and damaging his business reputation for years.

After much debate Klompton suddenly says he has the film, but he will not prove it. I think he's full of that.

I'm not sold on the night or day thing. It could depend on the lighting or film quality of the time. We are judging that from a still snap shot of the film. Does anyone know when Greb entered the ring on that day?

More to the point, how does this "expert" matchup a film taken in the daytime of an event taken at night??? The obvious answer is that none of these so called experts had ever done any more research into this fight beyond looking at the 1 paragraph AP report blurb on Boxrec until I kindly notified how mistaken they were.

In short, no, you havent seen it. And frankly it doesnt matter because any idiot can see from the photos thats its a film taken in the daytime which rules it out being Greb vs. Gans.
