I don't imagine it will do much worse than whatever the average was for the Guerrero and Ortiz fights. But I sincerely hope all 3 upcoming PPV cards tank and tank miserably. :smoke
That sounds about right. Most casuals fans have never heard of Amir Khan, Kell Brook or Keith Thurman either. May was only going to sell with GGG or maybe a Cotto or Pac rematch for this last fight.
i said 300-500k initially.. but i actually woke up this morning and realised the fight is next week. IV BEEN FOLLOWING THE LEADUP and even i did not know it was so close. if it s****es in at 300 i would not be suprised
I think it sucks out loud that boxing fans have to shell out so much money just to get a chance to see live televised fights. It's the kind of thing that I still hope will be phased out through necessity. If you're a boxing fan, and you wanted to watch all of the high profile cards, you're looking at something like $300 just to watch 4 boxing cards in high def. I'd love to see the supply oust the demand to bring some kind of change.
I actually do too, I think they are putting too much into PPV, so I think a humbling and comeuppance is in order :yep
I think he should have had this one on PBC on CBS though. As a thnk you to fans for spending that much for the Pac fight.
i seem to remember 750k edit: http://www.badlefthook.com/2013/5/1...s-guerrero-pay-per-view-numbers-still-doubted 870k
Floyd's looking soft and talks like he has a 3 pack a day habit. He sounds too confident. I think Berto's going to knock his as-s out.
