Closer fight, but i still think pac would have trouble landing on a fresher more offensive Floyd.. Floyd wins maybe a Split Decision.

He was. I tend to think that was reckless aggression. Anyone can get iced if they put themselves in the lions den. There is workrate, combination punching, and foot speed on Manny side.. May has excellent timing and that alone is what seperates him.. However a much more unpredictable Pac makes timing much more difficult

I beg to differ on the foot speed. I'm give him equal at best on that. Manny has also never had the ability to cut off the ring. While he did combo punch more. His punch output throughout history has taken a pretty decent sized dip when fighting counter punchers. You sound as if he would have thrown caution to the wind and just jumped in there, which I assure you he absolutely wouldn't have. With saying that, you are actually giving him less credit on his boxing skills than I am.

I've never understood this inability to cut off the ring. Pac was never some slugger who muscled his way inside. He used in and out movement through his earlier years. I never once saw him have trouble getting at an opponent unless they fought negatively in which case almost every fighter will fail to do damage. At world class guys know how to survive if that's the goal..

But we're talking different angles and much more straight left's. He could turn you in a flash..

The 2009/2010 Pac was a beast he looked unstoppable at that time we all wish the fight happened then.

Personaly if Floyd took the Toni fight and Pac fight at the right times he would of lost he was smart to avoid one guy and avoid the other until it was the right time.

No Pac hit harder and had the killer instinct back then

You honestly think Pac would not finished of Chris in 2010?

Pac's decline has been very evident

This version of PAC would have given Floyd hell, throwing over 1000 punches in the fight at serious speed and different angles... But I still feel Floyd's size advantage would be key, he would spoil effectively and nick a close points win in my opinion

That is a myth. Completely untrue. I wonder if you people really know anything about Manny Pacquiao at all. His punch output always, and I mean always was considerably lower when he faced a counter puncher. Not just in the supposed decline, but always threw less. For example, Marquez. Pacquiao threw less than 600 punches in all 4 bouts, that's an avg of less than 50 punches per round. Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, his volume if punches would not have been a factor, no matter when they fought. Mayweather's freakish arm length a superior ring generalship would have always played a factor. The only time a result would have been any different, was around 2002, and that's only because Floyd would have knocked him out.

Any version of Mayweather beats any version of Pacquiao. Just too intelligent, too skilled.

Exactly, and that's not "*****" talk. Styles make fights, and Floyd's style is now and has always been wrong for Pacquiao. Margarito, tailor made for Pac, slow footed comes to you. Cotto, tailor made, slow footed, never really a good counter puncher. Clottey, tailor made, had good defense, but slow footed, and his defense was covering up, allowing Pac to tee off.
