So compare Floyd to Hearns because he's the one past gen fighter that may be able to beat Floyd? Seeing right through you OP, maybe Hearne should of called #48 and give him some pointers! LoL

Again this is no contest and The Hit Man is one of my all time favorites, but this isn't about who's more exciting it's who's the better boxer aging no **** ing contest.

    Mayweather is greater.

Mayweather vs. Leonard would be a tougher comparison.

The biggest argument is that Hearns took on two of the greatest fighters ever in their best weight classes during their prime... Those fights were ridiculous....

I wish you people would stop calling Floyd Mayweather jr the Fighter of the Era. He is NOT!! NOT!! by a long way
Boxing pundits , who's votes count, voted Emmamuel Daphidran Pacquaio !!
Fighter of the ERA!!! And rightly so
You can call your idol Floyd BIGFOOT!! if you want it doesn't matter no one pays attention VIVA PACQUAIO FIGHER OF THE ERA !!!!!!!

I believe Hearns would have knocked Mayweather out and SRL would have too. The list of fighters that would have given Mayweather nightmares from that era say from lightweight to welterweight would be rather long in my humble opinion.

Mayweather is just lucky he wasn't around on that era.

F*** me, I'd take Pernell Whitaker to seriously embarrass Mayweather.
