But why can you see him hitting Floyd with big shots repeatedly, you're not attempting to explain why you believe this and why it would be different than Floyd controlling the range and countering Manny whenever he tried to lunge in and out...

And why are you done , at that stage Floyd hadn't fought anybody near that level of speed and power.

**** he lost the first 4 rounds to Judah , now Manny who is a million times better cannot hit him???!!!

What happened when Manny fought JMM though, you can't just focus on who Floyd had struggled with back then.

Because you can probably count on one hand the amount of "big shots" Mayweather took in has last 10 fights, and maybe 2 or 3 more fingers for the amount of "big shots" he took for his entire career. He simply does not get hit cleanly very often, and please stop with the speed and blah blah of Pacquiao. Mayweather was always as fast, or faster, and his timing (which is speeds kryptonite) is impeccable.

CJ, is that you? Lol. You added 5 years for this username. Look if you've watched blah blah blah for however long then you would know elite defenders (Whitaker, Toney, Mayweather) Do not take big hits all day. And if you've been watching for that long and you see anything about their styles knowing all you do about these 2, that would allow Pacquiao to land big shots all day on Mayweather, then you clearly need to take a remedial course.

Manny should have applied more pressure to mayweather and threw smarter combinations. He thought his handspeed would be enough to thwart voids head movement but he was mistaken. Smarter combinations not just fast ones.

It also seemed to me that there was a plan to try and counter Floyd instead of chasing him but this fell flat. .

Toney was getting hit very hard by Nunn for 11 rounds , who was also a very quick south paw. Toney had a great defence but when you are up against great also you do get hit.

I didn't disrespect you but you disrespected me so listen sweetheart go back to you 100k a year job ( that you think is a lot of money by the way :lol:) and what a few fights on youtube on your lunch hour.

I had him winning the first four however Floyd did great in adapting.

But Floyd did take some big hits in those first four rounds and to think that Manny back in his prime couldn't do the same for longer is illogical.

Do you mean the same Michael Nunn that Toney knocked out in the 11th. The Michael Nunn who was taller, longer reach and was actually pretty sound technically. Do you mean that Michael Nunn. He was ahead in the fight yes, but landed big shots all night. Try watching it again.

You just don't get it. PAC does not have the skills to beat Floyd. Not today, yesterday or ever. Even his Dad and Uncle would have knocked PAC out.

And sorry if you felt disrespected, I didn't take to kindly to being called son either especially in that condescending tone.

Sr and Roger would not have knocked Pacquiao out don't be silly, the man's an all time great ranked right alongside Mayweather, he would beat Mayweather 3 or 4 fights out of 10 in my honest opinion, it all depends on Roach prepping him with a cogent strategy... Manny doesn't think an awful lot and he has no speed advantage against Floyd, he reduced Floyd's accuracy superbly, it's just a shame that took his whole focus that night. Pacquiao will learn from that fight if he ever gets a second chance.
