Hagler had the best chin we've seen ever. He would walk through GGG's shots, take him to the late rounds, and brutalize him. GGG would be a boy on a man's errand.

I never said that Hagler will lose the fight. Only that he doest stop Golovkin.
Hagler would be more cautious in this fight.
Hagler chin is granite, but anyone can be hurt to the body.

GGG's power is often touted, but his best attribute is his chin.

Hagler's best performance was the Tony Sibson fight. That version of Hagler might have been the best middleweight that ever lived.

So, to answer your question - no, Golov could not beat prime Hagler.

Hagler had the best chin in the history of the sport.

Who in the Holy HELLLLLL has Golov fought to suggest his chin is on par with Hagler's?

    All speculation.

We've seen Hagler tested and he passed the tests, SRL notwithstanding.

We have yet to see GGG tested to the same degree.

If GGG cleans out the division and the SMW, we'll have more material for a comparison.

one thing we know hagler fought elite opposition, GGG has only fought cans, Hagler would have a 100% KO ratio against GGG's opposition.

The reason in saying wait til he retires, yes he's 30+ and likely at the peak of his skills, but the hope is that between now and then we will have seen him tested. He is taking a step in the right direction in facing Lemiuex, arguably the second best in the division. I personally think he should give up his quest of unifying the MW division. After beating Lemiuex, beating the winner of Cotto-Canelo, either one being an undersized not really middleweights, does not really do anything for him.

Marvin would expose GGG as a hyped up cherry picking KO artist.

That Hagler was not prime, let him fight the Marvin from the Sibson, Scypion, or Hamsho I fight.
