Joe Louis' record is much more meaningful than anything LL has ever done.

It's silly to disagree otherwise. The record has been around for almost 70 years and is probably the best boxing accomplishment in the entire sport.

I'd expect it to be Glazkov or Wilder.

If I had to guess, I would say Wilder. I don't think Wilder wants to fight AP.

I would imagine that Wlad wants to get that WBC belt ASAP.

    It's Wilder or Glazkov.
There's no one else for him to fight, Chagaev will have to face Browne after Oquendo (and Wlad has no interest in him to begin with).

Glazkov will take another tune up this year, if Wilder grows ***** and fights Sasha then expect Wlad-Glazkov next spring.

Then why did WBC force Stiverne-Wilder when Wlad wanted to unify against Stiverne?

No. He has signed a multi-fight contract (five I think).

Plus, there is an old score to settle. Wlad needs to disfigure Derek Chisora before he loses another fight or two and makes a fight with Wlad untenable.

Hopefully Wilder... But more than likely in addition to avoiding Povetkin he'll be avoiding Wlad for the time being at least. Looks like Gaymon is trying to groom Wawrzyk, and 51 year old Ruddock as future opponents for Wilder, why do you think they're both fighting on the undercard? Nobody knows who Wawrzyk is, he's a limited Euro level fighter... Ruddock older fans know, but why would he be fighting on the card?

    Retire.

If he fights on then the only options of relevance are 1) collect all the belts with Wilder or 2) fight the best guy available, which would be a rematch with Povetkin.

Wilder/Povetkin for the WBC belt and Briggs for the drama show.
Those are the 2 fights I want to see.

He might have a mandatory vs. Glazkov. After that I would like to see Wilder.

Glazkov would be an easy, easy fight.... While far more skilled, he lacks the punchers chance that even Leapai had.

I'm watching this fight again right now (well, struggling to get through it).

    Uggh.

I am not a big fan of either fighter but jesus ****ing christ the fouling by Klitschko in this fight is so infuriating. Wlad should really be embarrassed for fighting like such a ***** in this fight. I respect his run as HW champ, see his interviews and think he's a pretty cool guy, but then I see him fighting like this and I lose so much respect for him.

There was no sportsmanship in this "fight" at all. Going out of his way to press down on Povetkin's neck like that over and over. Even flat out leaping in for hugs repeatedly. Referee should be embarrassed too.

But he's technically Ukrainian, package Usyk on the undercard and they could have a great show in Kiev.

That's what I'd do if K2 can't get Wilder next.
