    Are you seriously saying that 147 Pac was faster than Pac in the lower weight classes? And that 147 Pac hit harder than lower weight Pac?

    :lol::lol::rofl:rofl:patsch

    I think the thing paulie doesn't realise is that PEDS or no PEDS manny pacquiao would be a tremendous fighter. Could they help him rise though the weights, yes.. could they turn him from a garbage fighter into a great one, No. PEDS clearly help people but if your a poor athlete they won't turn you into a great one. If you run 100m in 10seconds and add PEDS they won't turn you into the fastest man... They help but they don't make champions

    Then Paulie goes to hire Memo Heredia just like Floyd did... Memo the king of PEDs

    Paulie is just jealous and salty that he lost badly to Cotto and Hatton but these were some of Pacquiao's shining wins making Paulie look like a C level fighter that he is.

    I wouldn usually agree but if you look back at mannys career even at 130 he was weighing in fight night around 145... The thing is way overblown and it's clear he just stopped draining down weight classes... It's clearly incredible he could still stand and trade with 147lb'ers

    Point to where faster-"er" or hard-"er". Problem is it was the same, only difference is he was had already made a name for himself, and he was in divisions with more skill so they knew how to survive better. Cotto starting moving before he TKO'd, Clottey went totally into a shell, Margo was Margo but him out weighing Manny by 17 and having great chin, Mosley went into survival etc.

    Paulie speaks the truth.....if Manny Pacquiao beat Cotto he's the greatest ever.

    Paulie was forced to eat his words so he started accusing Pacquiao of PEDs :-:)-(

    It's hard to tell who you're agreeing with, me, Paulie, Zimornsky? Your post can be taken a couple different ways. I guess you're defending Manny on the basis that he looked more powerful before by draining down and having an advantage. If so your point is good, but the he still ducked a drug test that actually worth a damn (this will always remain his greatest enemy) and he still dealt with bigger better skilled fighters as good or better than before.

    There just really isn't much to discuss here anymore. Manny's refusal for stringent testing made him suspicious, Freddie pretty much outs Manny, and Manny's logic defying accomplishments at the time puts the final nail in the coffin.

    I guess what im saying is people make out like he weighed 135 (v diaz) then 6 months later he weighed 147 and was fighting there v de la hoya. It's not like he just added tonnes of weight.. The reality is he just didn't drain from his natural weight.. but then having said that it is quite incredible he was able to stand and trade with guys who outweigh him by 10lbs+. Usually when guys go up in weight they have to adapt (as paulie says...) Ironically he was eventually knocked out, but by a smaller guy coming up too.

    I agree with the testing issue and ofcourse it was very odd.. but he hasn't ever failed a test as far as we're aware so I just think people should leave the issue. Many athletes are on PEDS, it's just the way sports are. your dealing with people who want to be the best and will do anything to try achieve that & also trying to make as much money as possible. When money and winning are involved there will always be cheats.

    Paulie is an intelligent person with good insight. He has been in the fight game all his life on both sides and knows all the ends and outs. He is not frivolous in his comments and I don't dismiss them as just talk. It is worth conversation. I think that he was being given drugs without his knowledge. He was, at that time a very trusting individual and not aware of the ruthlessness of the powers that be in boxing. He was a sensation and they didn't give a dam about him personally. All they saw was dollar signs. Mayweather put their asses on notice and they stopped and covered up real good. I think that Pac knows now what happened because his body does not respond the same. It was a cruel move by his handlers if it ever gets to the light, they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

    Of course if you think the majority of top athletes are PED's then you're not gonna care as you think they're fighting on even ground but isn't that more like a convenient cop out than anything? I myself don't believe the majority are on PED's. We actually just had a good discussion on here the other day in which "clean belief" guys clearly beat the skeptics (those who believe pretty much everyone is cheating) as we just had better reasoning and logic for our beliefs.

    Paulie knows that. Pac was a dynamo but the money was in the higher weights and there is no way he could have gotten there and hung with those big boys naturally.
