Had the fight happened in 2009, Floyd still would have outthrown Pac and beat him up.

One would think that a man like Richardson would be able to back up the statements he made with evidence. If the block or blocks he was referring to was that small rectangle shape dry piece of gauze with some red dye on that's embarrassing.

Hey, for old time sake you should copy and paste the 20ish quotes from other people on why the fight will never happen.. I just want to see it.. I could probably find it, but I don't really feel like searching...

Joe Calzaghe would've knocked out Roy Jones had they fought 5 years earlier. :nod

You were all saying he's ducking Manny because he was on a resurgence dominating Bradley, battering Rios and destroying Algieri and he looked old against 'caveman' Maidana and now he made the fight happen it's the predictable old whine to get your emotions out you can't deal with like grown men because one man lost easily and the other won... embarrassing and nobody who is neutral can understand how difficult it is to accept they are both older, Pacquiao couldn't cope without a speed advantage and couldn't find his range, they both ducked eachother earlier and they both wanted to make much more money.

Why is this still talked about? Why still mock Floyd for not fighting Pac when people wanted him to? Nobody can do anything about it now but cry about how something could have been...

In 2009 Pacquiao would have got hit a lot more because in May he focused on avoiding Floyd's traps and reduced his accuracy admirably at the expense of any significant offense of his own, he knew he couldn't bullrush Floyd as he had no weight advantage like his opponents usually do, he also found he wasn't faster than him so couldn't really counter him to any effect apart from in 2 rounds, which were impressive counters, it's not his game though. He left any ideas of going hell for leather by the end of round 1 as Floyd hits hard enough and is an elite counter puncher regardless of who is infront of him. He can't really fight inside so Mayweather exploited that and just tied him up before he got close enough to begin anything. Mayweather never needed to open up with combinations like Cotto, Mosley (for the embarrassment of round 2) and Maidana because he was never in trouble on the cards, this is the tell tale sign you need to accept Pacquiao was not winning rounds, Mayweather would know. Again, Pacman does his most effective work at mid-range with in and out lunges to escape danger... this was always one of the likely scenarios... it's true he'd have a better chance in 09 being the reckless manny but if Floyd is the 2009 version I can't see it ending well for Pacquiao.

Mosley hit Mayweather with one of the cleanest shots he had ever been hit with, and Mosley has nearly twice the power Pacquiao does, and Mayweather still won that round. So how do you figure.

Manny has more power than Mosley.

And Manny would stop Mayweather in 2009.
