I dont know maybe because his best performances were at the 215/218 weight range?Maybe because at those weights he still had the SAME trainer?:iamwiths:

Tyson was 215 for Holmes and 217 for so for Spinks to name a couple, unlike your hero 300 plus pound Valuev!:nut

Really you are just as smart as a box of rocks possibly worse than even dinovelvet if you cannot see why or the difference in his ability at the below 220 pound range!:smooch

Sorry did someone merge thread here??? I though it was about why HW's come in at different weights, not who can use the MOST CAPS!!!

Aren't we talking just a few percent of body weight?

Five pounds or 10 is a much bigger difference at lightweight than with guys well over 200 pounds.

And smaller fighters who weight drain probably have huge differences but it doesn't show up at the weigh-in because a lot of guys only hit that weight for about an hour a few times a year, just for the weigh-in. Heavyweights fluctuate more because they aren't draining to hit a specific limit for that moment when they step on the scales.

You'll also often see heavies step on the scale sometimes stripping down their clothes and others wearing shoes or at least some clothing, which can be a few pounds on the total.

Bottom line, just doesn't matter because they aren't manipulating their bodies to hit a weight limit.

What 220 pound HW has won anything of relevance in recent times? The longest reighning HW champ in history is actually Wlad Klitchko because Louis left boxing for 4 years without having to fight anyone, and came back as champion. To say weight does not matter in Hw division is false, clearly theres a big jump from 200/220 220/240 /..240 and beyond is only then becomes less important because that is a very large weight regardless compared to lighter divisions and a less advantage than say a 210 pounder vs a 250 pounder...as a whole being a HW and weighing less than 220 is a detriment in recent times ,even in the 90's.A select few have moderate success but not many.

bottom line is not everyone at HW fights better lighter or heavier, but even a heavyweight fighter has a certain weight that he performs better at.It just doesn't have to be as exact as a lighter division fighter, but it still is important.

Tyson won the title against Berbick weighing in at 221 1/4lb I'll let you have a guess who his trainer was.....

So those extra few pounds didn't mean diddly squat really did they??

Basically you know fcuk all about boxing, his performance against Berbick is arguably the best of his career..

I love handing your ass to you on a daily basis....
