I stopped scoring after a few rounds but I thought it was close and that the commentary team were very biased towards Kameda. I was impressed with both fighters and thought it was a pretty high quality encounter. I thought McDonnell won the first fight clearly, albeit very close. The crowd booed like they'd just seen the robbery of the century, quite what lead them to believe Kameda was robbed I don't know.

I thought the fight was close and if it wasn't for the knockdown I would have called it a draw. However I am cool with the decision because Kameda couldn't distance himself from McDonnell. The harder he fought, the harder McDonnell fought. I think that Kameda had a better punch selection but McDonnell wanted it more.

I had it 114-113 kameda...1st and 3rd rounds could have gone either way.. if i had scored those rounds for mcd i would have had it 115-112 mcd... but i chose accuracy over aggression in those rounds.

The same one's hating on Jamie prior to the fight because he happens to be from Britain (yes, the usual suspects) are the same one's claiming robbery and there was no way Jamie won. Coincidence?

I remember listening to a boxing podcast where one of the hosts mentioned something about PBC doing something like that. I think it was along the lines of the crowd booing or being dissatisfied with the result and the cameras cutting away from them and playing cheers instead. I can't recall which fight it was now. Don't know if it was true or not but I wouldn't put it past them.

I just finished watching the fight on my DVR.

I had it 115-112 Kameda winning a clear decision. I gave the first to McDonnell which was the closest round. No idea what fight you guys were watching, but Kameda clearly won that fight.

McDonnell coming behind his solitary jab, which often either landed on the gloves or Kameda dodged it. That's not affective aggression even though he was the one coming forward. Kameda coming in and out with his strong combinations and more effective punches won him that fight.

I didn't score it becuase I missed some early rounds but I'm certain I would have had McDonnell up by 3-4.

And before anyone comes in and says I am biased or whatever, I actually was rooting for Kameda big time.

(although McDonnell's brilliant boxing IMO has made me a fan, I'll be sure to watch all his fights from now on).

You missed the most important rounds then. Kameda clearly won the early rounds, minus the first on my card; although, as I said, the first could've also gone to Kameda.

Wasn't directed at you, but you need to realise it works both ways.
