Absolutely abysmal at his job and has taken the **** out of UK boxing fans for far too long. Even gave himself a commentating stint and we had to listen to his awful growling commentating "kostyat tszyu has a big fight Hand!! Grrrr"

It's time for this creepy looking bloke to go. He's taken the **** for far too long

Adam is good at his job but he should never be in front of a camera or mic.

He was sat with Hearn and the fighters at Brook's press conference. What's the point in that?

The only people sat up there at a press conference are the fighters, their trainers and the promoter.

Billy you seem a good guy, but your determination to say how great everyone and everything at Sky Sports' Boxing are is embarrassing.

Adam Smith wouldn't be in front of a camera if he hadn't put himself there, the exclusive, long term deal with Matchroom has produced some absolutely woeful, one-sided cards that weren't fit for air. The contracted number of PPV's means that fans have had to pay money on top of their pretty hefty subscriptions to watch a card headlined by Tony Bellew vs Nathan Cleverly 2.

The guy has taken the **** out of the fans with the assistance of Eddie Hearn, the promoter who has regularly failed to deliver the super-fights that really would be worth a PPV fee.

I agree some of the ppv having been disappointing but in fairness the last few have been excellent especially Kevin Mitchell's fight and undercard.
Very unfair to pinpoint one guy out after all he has an immediate boss so it will only be coming down the line decisions made.
Ultimately Eddie Hearn needs to have the fighters to produce quality shows and match them accordingly, again I think he does well a good few of his fighters are winning titles and challenging for major honours.
From a personal point of view Adam Smith has always bee as nice as to me so in no way could I slate him.

for me it has ONLY been the mitchell night that has justified the PPV price in recent times, an arguement could have been made for the Froch fight but even then it was just the main event. For me it can only be the big hype fights & title fights and even on top of that the card needs to be stacked. Not just one title fight on the night. That way if the fights dont turn out to be great entertainment it can still be justified. The Cleverley - Bellew PPV was pure cheek and robbery that cant be argued ! Am i right in saying that the mitchell night followed that one ? that wouldnt be in no way to make up for such a shambolic feature would it ?!

Kevin Mitchell and Jorge Linares saved the day on what was otherwise a card packed with one-sided beatings, headlined by Kell Brook abusing feather-fisted, blown up 135 pounder Frankie Gavin. Hearn can't deliver Groves, Khan or Frampton, yet still has PPV dates to fulfill, hence farces like Brook vs Gavin and the eagerly awaited (BY NOBODY) rematch between Bellew and Cleverly.

Funnily enough i think he's decent at commentating. Was great in the Khan vs Maidana fight years ago. Should just stick to that and get rid of Halling the absolute Whopper!

Yes, he's much better than Halling. He's knows the sport and fighters more than Halling as well. He's ok, a lot worse out there.
