    2nd tier
Excluding Holmes and Tyson from 80s, Lewis and Klitschkos from 00s

    Let's say

    Tate vs Rahman
    Weaver vs Maskaev
    Dokes vs Peter
    Coetzee vs Sanders
    Michael Spinks vs Brewster
    Page vs Ruiz
    Tubbs vs Byrd
    Witherspoon vs Briggs
    Smith vs Lyakhovic
    Thomas vs Valuev
    Berbick vs Chagaev
    Tucker vs Haye

Who would've wone these matches (which HW era was better - 80s or 00s)

8-4 80s with these match ups, but Iggy isn't there and Damiani isn't either. Both were good. Also, I'm not confident in some of my picks like sanders over Coetzee.

Seamus, so you believe 00's generation of beltholders was slightly better? Others here seem to disagree with you

Why is ESB obsessed with FUKKING Heavyweights? In the greater scheme of things they are shyte. Are the majority of ESB posters big, stupid, slow reacting morons?

There is possibly a very good reason WHY DeLaHoya / Mayweather is / was the highest grossing PPV boxing event of all time. My guess is it was due to the fact that they were NOT big stupid fukwitted Heavyweights, who look, slow, cumbersome, spasticised, and re**rded, the way Heavyweights do.

But it is merely a guess.

I like a lot of these matchups and can see a good number of them going either way. I'm kinda leaning to the 80s crew to come out slightly ahead. On the whole most of them were younger when they primed and when they were motivated ( Not always the case ) they appeared to be in slightly better shape. While the 2000's heavys were a tad bigger, the lost generation still had plenty of size to match them with. You also had a few of those 80s guys who went the 15 round distance and engaged in some memorable wars ( especially mike weaver. ) I see both teams scoring some wins and as mentioned before a lot of these are pick em fights.
