Probably wouldn't class as 'major' but Andrew Selby has just turned pro, not announced a promoter yet and says he's making his debut in October

yup he broke something in his right hand he out for 5/6 weeks at least he says. He is eyeing up a fight with Chisora but wil defo be fighting just before christmas according to him. Browne is actually strating to get a ew fans over here in UK wouldnt completely rule it out. Eubank Jr would be defo a bigger announcement and a lot more likely i would say.

Yeah there is a decent chance he could be on the card but he wouldn't be chief support so we can rule him out for this.

I got the impression the new signing would be straight into a significant championship fight. Andy Lee defending his WBO middleweight championship would certainly be 'significant' fight. Eubank Jr is the only other Uk/ Ireland boxer who would appear to fit the bill.

Andrew selby is a good shout, hasn't been a Welsh show for a while, so can imagine there being one in the new year with the 2 selbys, cleverly and dale Evans I a british title fight maybe

Most fighters these days take the easy fights so your point loses its validity.

Say it is Eubank jnr, would Hearn insist that they do IFL TV interview as up to now they have always refused to do them?

does he actually have a formal agreement tho ? Wouldnt have thought so to be fair. And i really think Hearn will ahve loadsa trouble trying to get the Eubanks to tow the Matchroom line tbh. Eubanks are bigger divas than the Supremes !

Thank goodness somebody else can see though Eddie Hearn's shyte.

His bull follows the same pattern:

    1. Take Cornish an undefeated fighter and tell the world it is a 50/50 fight when it is in reality 100/0.
    2. Build up mismatches like Campbell v Coyle, Whyte v Joshua on the same bills telling the world these are 50/50 stadium fights when these are really 90/10.
    3. Build up mediocre fighters like Worry Worry Worry Warrington in Leeds against gash, reel the fools in and he gets badly pumped when up against his first decent opponent.
    4. Sticks bread and butter poo fights on PPV such as Brook v Gavin.

Yes whoever he signs, it will be a pile of shyte fights on Sky Sports and soon as an opponent has a 35% chance of winning then it goes PPV.

The Sky coverage since Matchroom were given the deal has been absolute dog****.

I hate sticking up for Hearn, but even he hasn't been saying Cornish v AJ is a 50/50... You're wrong about that one.

Hearn could and should be doing much better, but it's still better than the old days when they really took the **** with some cards.

He hasnt at any time said Cornish was a 50/50 same with Campbell/Coyle, he doesnt need to build up nights like leeds with Josh they sell themselves in minutes !

His PPV's have been utter diatribe tho ....and if its Eubanks then yeah will prob be a succession of terrible one sided fights then PPV him and BJS and some dodgy world title defences in there too.
