An exemption to use an IV is basically allowing someone to dilute/flush their system, akin to allowing them to dope or get away with it.

In Floyd's case he just barely got two 500ml or 750ml bags of IV into his system some time before the tester arrived. Woo, now I can take that ****.

Extra testing performed by USADA which Pacquiao, Arum and Co never trusted.

    That's fair..:good

I wonder why Pacquiao's camp didn't make a big fuss about Mayweather rejecting the 5 million dollar penalty for failed PEDs test...

The people slating floyd now include normal posters and even people who have defended him multiple times (including me)

The only reason for those IV injections with that amount of fluid is either extreme dehydration (meaning he adds huge amounts of weight after weigh in due to being drained) or he is masking ped use, it's irrelevant whether USADA approved it.

Not a good look for Floyd and Usada.

Ironically enough, I'd still pick Floyd to win even without it. All he's done is ask for a storm cloud over the win that never really had to be there.

I chalk this up in the same category as Ward keeping Conte on the payroll. You're talented. Why summon a cloud over your own achievements and give fans a reason to question them?

I don't think Pacquiao was roiding for the Mayweather fight. I feel that a Roided Pac vs a Roided Mayweather is a closer fight with Pacquiao having the edge.

Ive stated on here a couple times that Floyd won me over with his performance and humility after the pac fight. But lets be honest here...... At the very least this looks very suspicous and puts a huge asterisk on his legacy fight.

You get the exemption ahead of the injection. WHich he did not.

Granting an exemption 3 weeks after he took the IV injection not an exemption. That is called helping a guy cheat after catching him breaking the rule.

it doesnt matter when the exemption happened. He had the exemption, which is why he broke no USDA code. Fishy? Sure, but absolutely no rules were broken

    Two weeks after the fight.

    Two weeks after the fight.

The USADA normally follows VADA standards. That said, the contract between Mayweather, Pacquiao and USADA was *not* bound by VADA standards.

Good question. Apparently the contract Mayweather and Pacquiao signed with USADA deviates from USADA's normal practices.

I see some incongruencies. The questions is, did Mayweather violate the terms of his contract with Pacquiao and USASA.

I will agree that this isn't a good look for Mayweather...
