Yamanaka, would be great for him to really stake a strong claim for being the best in the division and I believe winning that would do that for him. Don't think any fighter should move up when there is big fights still available to him and McDonnell would be doing huge things if he won this fight.

Great poll mate, and I've chosen Payano, mainly because it would be nice to see the Regular "Champ" fight the "Super champ". I'd love to see him also go in with Yamanaka before moving up to Jr Featherweight and fighting Quigg and Frampton.
Was looking at a photograph today of McDonnell and Brook side by side and Jamie's the same height as Kel who's a big 147lb fighter. It's honestly crazy how he can make 118... It's this reason (height) I think he can give Frampton nightmares.

I'd like to see him against any one of those, really. But if I had to choose his next opponent, I'd say Quigg at 122, which should be a good payday for both and an easy fight to make. Not sure who I'd favour in that match-up.

:good If Quigg-Donaire falls through, wouldn't shock me to see them look to Jamie for Nov 21.

Going off the Quigg donaire thread, with Quigg having 'second thoughts', it would not surprise me that they are in talks about trying to make Quigg vs Mcdonnell.

I think Haskins would beat McDonnell again.
The IBF champ hasn't fought in a year. He is going to be stripped and Haskins made Champion?
Could set up a unification fight :bbb:deal

No chance, McDonnell has come on leaps and bounds he would have his way with Haskins.

Would love to see that fight get made, Quigg would be the favourite and I'd side towards him - would enjoy seeing McDonnell having his hand raised though.

Great fight although I don't think Hearn would allow it on high risk/low reward basis.
