Smoking a piece of dried leaf which has no effect on the performance whatsoever is enough to change the result to No Contest. We are talking about a direct violation of the WADA anti-doping code here. You do the math.

If he were not given an exemption, he would fail. And the people who gave the exemption didn't have the right for that. Basically he failed the test. What he did was illegal.

you dont "basically fail a test".

You either fail it or you don't. This isn't a morality argument, this is the rules.

Violating WADA anti-doping code is not the least bit different than failing a test. In comparison, Tyson's offence was much more insignificant. But that's how it works, you violate the code, you get punished. This is not a matter of whether the result will be changed or not, this is a matter of whether the United States will protect it's professional sports system's integrity or not.

If there's any justice it will be ruled a NC. If Pacquiao had won the fight and broken the same rules that Mayweather has broken you can bet your bottom dollar that it would have been ruled a NC. Mayweather cheated and broke the rules, there's no getting away from that.

I feel they always overreacted with the weed NC issues, even Chad has one from earlier in his career. If there was anything nefarious then yes a NC would be in order. My understanding is that nothing was done illegally, although clearly the whole story isn't told yet.

bigger dissapointment, the 70 percent of fans who said manny would win may 2nd or the 90% of fans who want it a no contest.

numbers exaggerated of course, but these questions I ponder :lama

It should but it wont. The NSAC let Mayweather do whatever he wants without consequences and this will be no different hes their cashcow , theres too much at stake and too much money involved for them to risk it by denouncing Floyd's habitual cheating, theres a reason why he fights in Vegas he knows he has everything under controll there , if this was any other fighter i have no doubt he would be punished but this is Floyd and its Vegas theres a reason why he always fights there.

Theres a bigger chance they somehow change the result from floyd UD to Floyd by KO than a NC.

For those that keep saying the NASC have cleared Floyds name and said no wrongdoing, just because you keep writing it doesn't make it true. In fact it is quite the opposite whereby the NASC have come out and said there has been wrong doing here on Mayweathers part. The amount, the location, the lack of approval prior to it being administered, on all counts illegalities have taken place!!

All every real boxing fan wants is a sport that is corruption free as it should be. But while you have corruption like in Vegas with the NSAC. USADA etc you are never going to get that. California & NYC are almost as bad
BOXING IS CORRUPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Fed's need to stamp this out NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
