That's not true at all, strictly speaking.

I find it utterly baffling that so many people are so quick to sweep several deviations from standard protocol under the rug as if it was completely meaningless. The thing of it is, standard protocol was put into place for a reason - and in this case, the details were reportedly negotiated in such a tedious mannerl during the long and arduous process undergone to finally bring this fight to the forefront, so the devil in the details seems even more relevant than it otherwise would, because this was the biggest fight ever.

This whole thing stinks, far worse than Pac and his ridiculous shoulder-gate fiasco, and yet we have a slew of people exhibiting nothing more than blind hero worship, merrily parroting things like "The NSAC and USADA cleared Mayweather of any wrong doing".

That's simply not accurate, no matter how many times the delusion faithful repeat it.

This what our resident flo-mos do anytime Floyd takes an L. We all know who they are. It's laughable. They bring absolutely ZERO objectivity to the table. Sure, some Pac fans are like that but the amount of resident Floyd fans who blindly back Floyd is sad.

I personally think the rabid fanboys for Floyd and Pac are equally delusional.

Yep! Pac did the backstroke across the calm sea during a beautiful sunrise where God healed him. And the NSAC and USADA resolved Floyd of any wrong doing.

Amazing how these 2 are so infallible when seen through the eyes of their hero-worshiping fanboys.

I just don't see Mayweather going in that direction. It's not his style and he don't need to. I am convinced that everything was done above board and legitimate. You can argue the technical points forever but when it's all said and done, he will be exonerated.

Like the clauses to have a waiver issued in case of failed test outcome? And the clause to allow USADA to issue a TUE post fight?

That totally sounds above board right? Oh yea, and paying USADA 150K for testing when other fights cost only 33K roughly which is already more than double what VADA charges? Again, above board too right? Oh and in 46 fights, they only caught one pro boxer? USADA is a class act right?

Technical points like he was in breach of WADA doping rules when he stepped into the ring against Pacquiao?

Please. The only logical reason to pump that much fluid and vitamins into your system is to clear your system of traces of things you don't want revealed or if he was rehydrated. We all know Floyd stays in tip top shape. Dude was juicing. Anyone with common sense can see this.
