Nice attention-shifting strawman! But I'll bite. Imo, Floyd would probably lose to Hearns every time, lose to Leonard more often than not, and quite possibly/probably lose to the mysterious great version of Duran that only showed up for a few fights above lightweight. He doesn't lose to Benitez though.

A 6' contender who challenged Spinks and Saad for the light-heavy title. A slightly different proposition to a 5'8 welterweight.

As to the fight, it would probably be very boring and lacking in action as they'll just cancel each other out. Toss a coin.

because his era is very watered down. diego corrales is tall but in no way shape or form is he comparable to tommy hearns. if that same punch mosley landed on floyd came from hearns it would've been lights out. :!:

Close fight could go either way.

Benitez would surely be a bigger test and pose more problems with his style than anyone Floyd has faced in his career.

No, this would be highly tactical.

Benitez was at his best when he lay on the ropes and made the other guy miss. Like Leonard, Floyd will not fall for this tactic. The fight will be in ring center. I think physically, Benitez is a little stronger at 147 than Floyd. Both guys would make the other miss quite a bit. I think at times, Benitez would get Floyd on the ropes and pot shot to the body. I see Benitez winning a very close, unexciting fight.

Wilfredo trained less then two weeks for his bout with Ray yet held his own until being stopped in the last round. His ability to make Ray miss badly with his right hand throughout the bout stands out about his slipping ability.

I would say Benitez decisions Mayweather.

Did anyone ever answer this? It was a sincere question--I wasn't trying to insult Benitez.

He was better defensively by miles against a much higher lvl of comoetetion while also being better offensively. Thats all that matters, not how well you cherry pick, hide your ped us, or leverage your cultural shortcomings into a moneymaking industry.

it's a 100 million dollar fighter vs a one million dollar fighter

"wonderful" Wilfred gets beat at his own game. I see another case of Wilfred becoming frustrated as he loses round after round and in the process, loses another big one
