According to the commentators at his fight last night Adonis got his "superman" name in prison when after beating up 10 guys who jumped him at once a guard remarked after witnessing the after-carnage, "what is he superman"? Is that true? He did beat the sh-it out of that one guy last night.

Stevenson fights very timid early on and Beterbiev would get off early and KHTFO. Good shout. Kovalev, OTOH, comes forward as soon as he sees the opening. He feels his opponents out early and doesnt take a backwards step. Beterbiev doesnt know what a counter is. He doesnt throw a punch from the defensive posture without a COMPLETE reset. Kovalev would likely KHTFO unless Beterbiev has an iron jaw or somehow manages to give Sergey the bums rush in the first rd and somehow crack his iron. :think
With good reason. 25% is insulting to a man who was better known in RUS than Kovalev back in their am days. Artur is going the mandatory route i.e. will force a purse bid where Stevenson was unable to get ME to commit to one - no mandatory there. Artur is a different story, he'll put tremendous pressure on Kov as a mando.
HBO had a deal with Stevenson for a fight with Kovalev, then Stevenson ran to Showtime, refused to fight him. Kovalev will knock Stevenson out and I mean out!!!
