May-Berto was not boring, it was a very entertaining fight, Floyd was sharp, aggressive, and showed a lot of his skills. Berto fought hard like we knew he would and tried his best to land power shots on Floyd! Floyd's defense and movement was unmatched, it was beautiful to see and even with injured hands he had Berto stunned and on ***** street several times in the fight. And did you peep the body work, Floyd threw some of the best combos to the body we ever see in the sport these days! But I think I know what "boring" means to most of you....Floyd was not hit enough, if the opponent can't land clean then for you the fight is not exciting. Well I enjoy watching a master pugilist, master boxer at work so I found the fight very entertaining!
People were saying it was boring or putting Zzzs from opening bell.. That's what's popular to say about Floyd along with something about an IV.. There's nothing anyone can do about it...
fixed for you mate! and who the hell is watching two cheats?you may start watching WWE, it's the same thing, and usually the underdog wins, a lot more entertaining than 2 cheats hugging and sholder roll
So for you, strategy, timing, feints, counters, tactics, speed, defense, intelligence, perfect execution, is boring? I don't think you know what boxing is, go watch street fighting that's more your speed.
it was not the worst fight iv seen but hardly a barn burner.. round 6 showed us how great the fight could be. i understand floyds 38 and he is about fighting smarter not harder but he was getting the better of berto by outfighting him in round 6 and it was great to see, it also showed me how fuken sloppy he has become
It was boring only in the early rounds. Have to admit that Floyd's best days are gone. Berto is C-level fighter and early in the fight he couldn't touch Floyd at all, but later he could come close to hit him a couple of times. Floyd's legs aren't what they used to be, he's clearly past it, as is Pac (and has been for a long time).
Sloppy? How can you say that? He always made the right move at the right time.....Martinez-Salido was sloppy. Floyd and Berto was full of technique, and unlike Pacquiao..Berto eventually through care to the wind and went after Floyd. It was a thrill watching Floyd tame a wild bull
I've never found him boring but I like technical fighters like Mayweather, I get enjoyment from watching technical perfection and seeing a fighter utilise that to dominate. But I get that not everyone likes that style of boxing and wouldn't call it exciting, it's one for the purists and most boxing fans can't appreciate that aspect of the sport, they are not in it for understanding the intricacies of technique they just want a good competitive fight.
It was okay, Berto was too limited of an opponent to really enjoy it, I mean I like watching Floyd but this one was one of his worse fights.
