Watching the ACTUAL fight, who actually thinks tillis won 4 rounds? I had Tyson winning 9 rounds and one judge had him winning 8 rounds...does anybody really think this was close at all?
7-3 Tyson if you're being generous to Tillis. He seems to get lots of additional credit simply for not being brutally KO'd. But I didn't think it was that close.
Haven't watched in a while Tillis troubled Mike with movement and wasn't afraid to trade, had durability in that fight. The knockdown and defensive footage was incredible. Some close rounds, Tyson deserved the win.
Tillis finished strong and won the last 4 or 5 rounds, Tyson mentioned in his book Tillis hurt him bad with body shots and gave him all he could handle.
err...your an idiot ,just read the majority of the replies..maybe rewatch the fight.assuming you take off your beer goggles! P.s you see more on video footage not at ringside where one only watches from one point of view and doesn't have the luxury of rewatching anything! atsch
That's probably the most accurate score!:good Im not sure if you're aware but Tillis became Tysons sparring partner...he fought Tillis again in an exhibition match in 87 and was much sharper...he took tillis to school and is an excellent example of his conditioning also...had it been a real fight tillis was done within 3 rounds. Its on youtube on Tysons channel.
You've some nerve calling anyone an idiot. I've watched the fight plenty of times and it was a close bout. Tillis ended the fight strongly and won the later rounds, 2 of the judges agreed with me also.
Which is the more to bring into questioning, since you are terrible at observing boxing, you're the only fool who ever put carnera over Tyson ,do I need to further embarrass you on here?Theres another score for you to read below you joke!
