When's the last time a Mayweather opponent didn't mock him post-fight?

    On TMZ,

they're showing Berto saying,"I forgot to bring my running shoes to the fight." He goes on to say,"He can't fight man, he just runs and holds."

Seriously, this has got to be the 10th opponent in a row to say this about him. This is why I have no respect for Floyd, when Ali or any great had a chance with a guy they would eat their soul and leave the fighter humble post fight.

Every Floyd opponent walks out feeling like he didn't hurt them and just runs around with the exception of Hatton and Ortiz. Of course Mayweather fans will defend him and say his opponents are just butt hurt and salty. Na man I've been watching boxing since the 80's, guys like Leonard, Ali wouldn't allow their opponents to walk out the ring without realizing they were hurt and defeated men. Floyd is a legend no doubt...but a legend at what exactly? Holding and running to a W?

Exactly. They all claim to have the blueprint and then realise they are in the ring with a master.

Floyd makes his opponents look silly and then they moan about it

Master of spending 70% of the match running away and holding.

Not my idea of the art of boxing and he would be hated by blacks if he was a white dude.

run....but floyd landed nearly 3 times as many punches as Berto and at a high percentage.

perhaps these other boxers should learn how to "run"

There can sometimes be a big difference between winning a fight and beating your opponent. Mayweather generally wins fights, leaving his opponents in tact. It's a rare approach but it has worked for Floyd, in terms of keeping is '0'. Only a few of his opponents have come close to turning a Mayweather bout into an actual fight and Floyd never really met his bogeyman.

What's funny here is that, as contrary to Pacquiao, Maidana II and many other fights, against Berto Floyd was staying just in front of him and Berto still couldn't deliver anything. He was also engaging with him several times - Berto kept missing all the shots.

I guess you just really need to find excuses after being publicly fooled. And that's the one casual fans and dehydrated people like to hear these days. :patsch

He must have forgot what happened during the fight when he got hit with that uppercut in the 12th.. He should have said that during the post fight interview.. At least Pac cried directly after his loss...
