    Fast Eddie takes on 43-31-1 Galen Brown in the main event of a non-televised card in New Jersey on Friday. (the co-feature is another relatively unimportant heavyweight showcase with club fighter Travis Kaufman picking at the bones of Epi Mendoza, who used to be an occasional upset risk once upon a time)

    This is his 6th consecutive no-mark opponent since the dispiriting and one-sided loss to Mchunu down at cruiser. I'd say he is probably ready to step it up.

    Sadly, you can argue he is doing just that as Brown at least has more W's than L's by a more comfortable margin than Chambers' previous five victims, a couple of whom actually had losing records. In fact, Brown's 43 wins are more than all five of them have combined (42). :!:

    Maybe we can get Chambers vs. Mansour by next year. (they have preexisting beef)

    Galen Brown shouldnt even be allowed to box

    whatever happened to this "rule" that everyone seemed to be an expert on after manny was knocked out he wouldnt be allowed to walk back into a gym for 3 months? this guy was just knocked out in 1 round july 15...

    It's not as if Thabiso Mchunu's a household name now.

    (even in his own household they probably have trouble pronouncing it ... assuming his wife and kids are even allowed to talk ...)
