    Well if someone went on a rant and called you an idiot and you supposing had evidence that could make them look very silly why wouldn't you show it ? It looked bad for ward becuase he went quiet

    who has ggg fought though? shouldnt ggg be happy since he's claiming every elite boxer is ducking him and take this fight? he said he's willing to go to 168, and he has not one elite name on his resume. isn't this a chance to prove himself?

    Maybe he didnt say anything since Gennady refuted the article? He never said those words, so how does it look bad for Ward?

    Yeah I'd turn it down too. What does Ward offer? He's nothing but a fan fight. He doesn't bring money, he isn't PPV, and he isn't a unification. Until he becomes one of those then GGG is going to keep saying no and for good reason.

    Well apparently Golovkin has said that the article is bs, so he never claimed Ward turned down an offer.

    I have no doubts that Ward is telling the truth here. So Golovkin's people said maybe in 2017, and right now with his first PPV coming up he obviously wants to see what happens with Cotto-Canelo because that's another big PPV unification fight.

    Why **** around going up for a 168 fight against Ward when he's got that on the horizon? Another unification fight with Lee also looks very possible in 2016. Could be a very big year for Golovkin.

    Ward needs to find someone else to boost his career. Ain't gonna be Golovkin unless he wants to stay dormant until 2017. Ward did say he wanted to fight the best at 168-175...maybe he should give Kovalev a call?

    He brings more money and more fans and more views than Lemieux. He also brings legacy, but that doesn't matter at all right? GGG has his first chance to fight a P4p star, and put himself in the record books. GGG was also willing to fight Chavez Jr at 168, guess what CHavez Jr drew 600k on his last 2 fights on SHOWTIME.

    i care little about GGG. my concern is Ward, who seems to ducks any real challenge. why fight Smith at 172 then go down again for GGG? he almost cleared 168 years ago, go up and clear 175 if he wants #1p4p, no more excuses ! and as i said i'm ok if he takes another easy fight, like Bute or Pascal to adjust to 175

    50-50 split is fair for 160-164
    at 168 GGG should take most of the money.

    He fought smith as a tune up, and yes you're right if he wants to be p4p #1 he should should to 175 and clear it out. My question to you is why is your concren Ward? He has fought elite opposition already, GGG has not.

    Gennady's team is the one that asked for 50/50, he said he complied to their offer, if he disagrees with it then negotiate. Why turn it down right away?

    YEAH and GGG isn't calling Chavez out anymore, IS HE?

    If you don't bring in SIGNIFICANT amount of money at 168 then GGG won't be interested in fighting you. Point, blank.

    my concern was always Ward, years before GGG was seen as a boxing star. he has the ability to be great but chickens out before a real challenge. why didn't he took Dawson's belts? why didn't he took Bute's belt? Why didn't he took Froch IBF belt? Why doesn't he goes up and take Kovalev and Stevenson belts? he would easily beat Stevenson, i tell you that, but he has no passport to go to Canada, that's why

    Of course not since he lost to Fonfara. Chavez Jr just like Ward took a hiatus for a year, but GGG called him out to fight him even though Jr's last fight before Fonfara had the same amount of views as Ward did. He was only willing to go to 168 for Chavez becuase he was an easy fight, it had nothing to do with the money.
