I said this before. I perfect fight for Ward right now is Jean Pascal. It should be an easy fight to make being there is no promoter war involved. Pascal is a very good test for Ward at 175. And in Canada I bet they would be able to bring in a decent crowd. Even Bute! But Bute is with Haymon I think?

You have made the cardinal ESB sin of being reasonable and talking some amount of sense, of course you have been routinely ignored since!:lol:

I believe that Ward made the offer and that it was turned down (I tend to think he meant 6-7 weeks ago not months but thats pure speculation on my part).

I also can't blame GG for turning it down. You are in the process of signing for a PPV fight for at worst comparable money (after purse splits) against a belt holder in your own division in a fight you are favourite to win. You are going to sign to fight the champ in the div above? Fvck off.

Would Ward take the same money to fight Kov if a Jack or Degale fight was as good as signed? Would he fvck.

On the point of calling out Floyd ( I don't include Cotto/Canelo as they fighting for a MW title so are absolutely fair game) no I don't blame Golovkin. In the same way I don't blame Ward for wanting a GG fight. Name a fighter who wouldn't take a bigger payday (in the FMJ case MUCH bigger) for fighting a smaller guy in a fight he is favoured to win?

BTW I would love for the GGG Ward fight to be signed and the sooner the better. But I ain't gonna slate fighters for doing what is best for their careers. By the same token I don't hate on Ward for not signing to fight a top LHW if he still has viable fights at 168.

In both cases I'd love to see them move up and the fights made but I won't sh!t on the fighters for doing right by themselves. Anyone that is spinning this as so-and-so is ducking is just an agenda driven ass-hole.

Ward cant say he doesn't have any experience at 175. Paul Smith missed that 172 pound catch weight and came in above 175 didn't he? And anything above 168 is light heavy.

He made Dawson drain himself down and Abraham was really a mw. He has bigger fights at 175 with Kovalev/Stevenson and a better chance of making them. He's not interested in going down to 160 and GGG isn't going up to 168 so he is wasting his time

Is Ward pretending to be an idiot or he really is ? Golovkin is busy unifying belts at his own weight, and his team has clearly stated that it is his current goal.

Also, 50-50 at 168 ??? Is Ward serious ??? Who is he now compared to Golovkin in terms of popularity and drawing power ? 30% for Ward would be generous !

Says the guy with a GGG title in his name , I'm not even going to bother arguing with a moron like you, but Loeffler has indeed confirmed that they declined the offer for a fight in 2016. GGG wants absolutely NOTHING to do with Ward.

Golovkin is fighting to unify the titles at 160.................he is fighting Lemieux next, then the winner of Cotto/Alvarez. He would also like to fight Quillin and anyone else at the very top of the 160 lb. division. He would fight Roid Mayweather at 154 for Roid's 154 lb. title......................why should he fight SOB nobody Ward in Ward's home town with his personal referee, judges boxing commission, and take most of the money? Stevenson called Ward out live on HBO, Ward refused to answer him, Stevenson also said that he would come down to 168, but again Ward refused to answer him. When asked about fighting Kovalev, Ward said that Kovalev was too big for him. Ward fought last time at 172, he could come up 2 or 3 lbs. easily, he was a light heavyweight in the amateurs. I believe that Beterbiev would knock Ward out with only 9 pro fights, but again, Ward wants to fight middleweights, Jr. middleweights in his home town. Ward refused to allow Bute to fight in his personal tournament, that's because Bute was good then....................Ward was the only one who never had to travel, then he thanks Goosen for making all this possible by suing him..................
