Loeffler is 100% assured that Canelo will either fight Golovkin after or be stripped when he refuses. You may not believe it, but it's what has been said. They must be pretty assured by Sulaiman to be that confident.

Go read your original post, you didnt bring up anything about how the fight was supposed to be signed after the Lemieux fight. You were trying to make it out like Ward offered it after the Lemieux fight so GGG wouldnt be able to sign it, wwhy are you even trying to deny this?

Also, why do you keep saying most likely . I'm being incredibly generous saying there is even a 50% chance htat fight happens after Lemieux.

For a guy that is fighting on BET and only bringing in 300K views in his last fight? I'd say a 80/20 split is fair:lol:

Jacobs vs Quillin winner? I believe Jacobs will take the fight if he gets past Quillin.

Well I guess that by then Ward will be at 175 and have fought Kovalev so Little G can avoid that fight.

    that's not the question
"who besides Ward can GGG face that would be a worthy follow up to a PPV debut? (Assuming GGG-Lem is modestly successful compared to expectations)."

    answer it

I'm not sure that you have a proper understanding of the meaning of the word "unified" when used in this context.

He could have easily been unified if he didnt re-sign with Duva, and went to someone like Haymon who would have gave him far bigger paydays.

"GGG gets Canelo/Cotto and then is ONE belt from becoming the only current-day unified champion? He's staying at 160 and for a great reason! This is all which would make a 50/50 fight "premature" in the sense that by 2016 GGG could probably be asking for 70/30 for all we know."

I clarified it a few second after I posted. You quoted me too soon. What's wrong with this approach from Loeffler? It makes perfect sense.

Little G has all the excuses not to fight Ward , it's sad that the little g fans keep making excuses for him. They could give 2 ****s if he endsn his career with Lemieux/Lee as his best wins.
