Why do you really want him to fight SOG?

I want him to fight the best.

His fanboys want him to marinate in a dead division expecting handouts from midgets and shop worn fighters and win vacant belts.

Their excuse for not fighting Ward... "hurr hurr hurr my hero ggg is simply waiting for the winner of the Cotton/Canelo fight even though that's not likely to happen. Hey, if anything, ggg can just pick up vacant belts fighting opposition he's 60 to 1 against, I'm cool with that, hurr hurr hurr"

I do because when you mention him fighting anyone 160 down, everyone says he'll knock him out within 5.. People on here say he's the best MW of all time and would knock out Hagler, but no one wants Ward until he KOs everyone at 160 first and then the guys from 154 that's moving to 160.. Legacy and challenges only matters to fighters you don't like..

The BumlovIdiots don't want the Triple Duck anywhere near Ward because they all KNOW Andre makes easy work out of him...

I would love to see GGG fight Ward. I don't know who wouldn't unless you are a fan of GGG and don't think he stands a chance against Ward.

the same can be said about ward who cleaned out his division years ago why wont ward move up and fight kovalev instead of trying to pick on a smaller fighter? I haven't seen that many people on here seriously say golovkin is the best middleweight of all time.

If he gains muscle to get to 168, he won't be able to get back down to 160 after he beats Ward.

Why can't he unify his own weight class ? SMW division is no better than MW. Just look at those "champions": Jack, Abraham, Chudinov, DeGale. Ward is the only challenge for GGG at SMW.

Personally, I don't want him to fight Ward because he is a MW and why should he go up in weight AND on top of that fight in Wards backyard with Wards family and friends as ref, judges and spectators?

I want him to fight SOG, but after he unifies MW. Personally, I don't think the fight is that great anyway. The only fight I really clamored between guys of two different weight classes is Rigo-Loma, mainly because of their amateur backgrounds more than anything.

So then why did the Triple Duck want to fight both Froch and Baby Chavez @ 168?

His next fight is a 160lb unification fight. I got $20 that says he won't fight the Canelo/Cotto winner in his next fight after Lemieux.

    LOL.

Yeah, middleweight is such a deep division that it is currently being ruled over by a WELTERWEIGHT. At the very least, a true 168lb'er rules SMW...

Lemieux is beating him in a month so that won't even matter anymore.

It almost certainly won't be Cotto in the event he beats Canelo, and there's only the slimmest more chance Canelo faces him should he win.

But the one guy I think is a no-brainer on deck, as long as he doesn't lose to BJS (and maybe perhaps even if he does) is Andy Lee.

But if Lee loses to BJS, and we're correct in Cotto and Canelo wanting no part of that, GGG's team might have to look Ward's way if they want to build on whatever success his debut PPV headliner does.
