    Yeah I don't quite get it myself. They are 8 pounds apart. And Ward hasn't made 168 in 3 years. So in reality they are 12 pounds apart by Ward's last fight.

    I don't understand it myself, Loeffler and Golovkin said they don't want to fight Ward now (they said it multiple times), why is this still talked about? They clearly dismissed him as a near-future opponent.

    I understand it perfectly well, many of the people who want this fight are nationalistically and racially motivated and dislike Golovkin because he's white and they don't want him to be successful, so in order to get rid of him as soon as possible they want him to fight a guy who has Gold at Light Heavyweight who at this point should rightfully be competing at Light Heavyweight who will in all likelihood box GGG's ears off because of his superior skills and has the ability to bully GGG a much smaller fighter around the ring due to his advantage in size and strength,

    And GGG will have been toppled by Ward an American and a black fighter and everyone will be rid of the pesky nuisance that is GGG. And order will be restored to the Boxing universe.

    For the record I fully believe GGG loses to Ward.

    But all of the people calling for this match are terrified by the idea o Ward facing Kovalev and defend his decision to not move up vehemently. Which is incredibly hypocritical.

    I didn't intend this to be racial, I'm just calling it like I see it. And consider myself a fan of Ward and GGG.

    ward is the only elite fighter ggg can fight.
    his resume is bull**** so far.

    Looking good against bums and losing your only fight against a good fighter means you are hypejob

    This has nothing to do with it fool. If GGG was fine with fighting JCC Jr and Froch at 168 then he can fight Ward there to. Quit with this bull****. People want GGG to step up and fight someone elite that's all it really is. Do you see people mad and hating on Kovalev or Loma? Of course thye don't they stepped up and proved themselves Kovalev with Hopkins and Pascal and Loma with Salido and Russell Jr. So stop with this it's because GGG is white because that's bull****.

    stop acting like loeffler and k2 have said they dont want the fight just because theyre saying it now after ward exposed them....before that they were hollering....and ward said loeffler apologized, and blamed sanchez, in person last time they ran into each other

    theyre saying they dont want it because they have lemieux fight and they dont really want it with ward.....but it wasnt long ago there was alot of tough talk coming from them

    yeah this is similar to floyd/pac....you have ggg/pac pretending he wanted it but making lemieiux/clottey fight instead
