True. You'd think with their neighbors England and Ireland being so close and producing so many renowned boxers that there would be more notable Scottish fighters.
I'm sure you're right. of course I've probably heard of some them just didn't realize they were Scottish.
Ken Buchanan was probably the best Scotland has produced. Benny Lynch was pretty good too. :good As for heavyweights, there really is a lack of good HWs from Scotland historically. Even compared to England and Wales.
Well yeah Ken Buchanan I'm well versed with. The only recent scottish fighter I know of is Scottish Greg McEwan and the only fight I've seen him in was his loss to Irish Andy Lee.
Ricky Burns is a recent Scottish fighter. He was half decent. Scott Harrison was a good fighter 10 or 15 years ago. Harrison could have been better I suspect, but had issues with alcohol and general misbehaviour.
