Anyone defending Mayweather needs to explain why he'd need an IV to re-hydrate anyway, since he's not a big welterweight at all.
Also, if it was "only" to re-hydrate, that's clearly cheating under the rules.

It's apparent that all the agencies involved have decided to let him off, without any real explanation as to why they have made that decision.
If they are so liberal with their own rules, no one can blame Pacquiao for again questioning why he wasn't allowed the painkiller shot he requested.
So, this is the "level playing field" Mayweather wanted ?

Damn, that's pretty rough for Floyd. I can't believe Floyd was holding up the fight to try and hide a possible positive test.. How can that be justified.

The cause of dehydration is lack of adequate fluids.

The only reason a boxer would lack fluids so drastically (to need a drip) before the fight would be due to making weight.
It would occur because the boxer struggles to make the weight, ie. the boxer would undoubtedly be naturally large for the weight.

    What don't you understand ?

The only reason someone can become dehyrated is to make weight?

You are a grade A idiot.

How can a stupid ass really question why a world class boxer can become dehyrated.

he is referencing how many fighters drop weight in a short period of time to make weight, usually involves losing water, not eating, extreme exercise over a short time frame, using natural and/or illegal duiretics.

so many fighters can put back on up to 15lbs after weighin.

he is saying that bc fraud naturally walkks around 147 he doesn't have to cut weight....which can lead to dehydration,,,,,

he doesnt sound like an idiot at all

rather there is no scientific evidenceto suggest that IV is a more effective way to rehydrate by bypassssing your body digestive system. considering that he needed a medical reason,,,,,the only logicall explanation is PED masking at this point until further evidence is furnished

Right. Now give us an explanation that how 150lbs Floyd got so dehydrated that he needed an IV 14 times the maximum allowed quantity, and also why he took that risk instead of just drinking large amounts of water?

please enlighten us, because that's the million dollar question here.

So now we got a poster who knows what Floyd does 24/7 and now he's a DR who claims he can just drink water to cure dehyration.

This board is full of clowns.

a high level professional boxer like floyd don't just get dehydrated in training because they hire strength and conditioning coaches that monitor them plus they have nutritionists. only cutting weight will get top fighters get dangerously dehydrated. floyd is not cutting weight. only paid posters or extreme fanaticism will defend that IV infussion.

    LMAO

This idiot thinks a boxer can't get dehyration.

I'm not even going bother explaining why a BOXER CAN BECOME DEHYDRATED because you're clearly delusional.

Can someone tell me what drugs are illegal (in general) in America, because if people are calling for a federal investigation then it's not gonna mean much if those drugs are only illegal to take as per the rules of boxing. I just ask because in England its perfectly legal to take steroids.
