Welcome to 1998. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/12/s...-armstrong-beat-cyclings-drug-tests.html?_r=0
Beats me. And I haven't followed any of the newer stuff that's been released. But my understanding was getting a TUE that close to fight date, and retroactively, was not common practice, and that the administration of the drug exceeded protocol and that the venue of administration deviated from standard protocol. But for all I know, this stuff happens all the time. Just didn't seem very likely in the context of what's been released (that I've seen).
floyd is publicly recorded with ellerbe saying he was dehydraated so he knew in april when the TUE clause was added in the contract that he was gonna be dehydrated in may? since you appear smarter than other fl0m0s in attemting to read the rule, what is the best way to treat de hydration? secondly, i question that IV are allowed by NSAC...maybe there is ntg perse in their rulebook but that doesnt make it "legal" most commission woud refer to wada when there is no precedence let me know what further research you can find on both accounts
Usada, addressed all points. Hauser, was not there and does not have inside information. Try again pac****s.
But if they took samples prior to the IV, and samples afterwards - masking is clearly not possible. And for those who say "what if he was using IVs long before that to mask", well, then why bother with the IV prior to the fight if you're going to be tested beforehand and your levels are okay enough to mask anyway? The argument makes no sense. Short of wearing a tin-foil hat and believing NSAC and USADA are willing to jeopardise their organisations to help Mayweather dope, I don't see where this goes.
maybe both....but if he is guilty it tells me IVs were apart of his nutritional meal plan way b4 may 1st
Before and after when? Where's the test results proving that statement? How long of a duration? 5 mins before and after? Can you repeat anymore of their vagueness? And as you see, IV use = masking doping. It's old as **** and was banned decades ago. It's news to you guys cuz boxing is ****ing archaic. In cycling, it means DOPER obviously.
Can someone please summarize the proven lies Hauser was caught telling with some bullet points? I can't be arrsed to read 24 pages. :smoke
I think that's a fair line of questioning. Honestly no idea if it's normal or not - provided it was overseen by a medical practitioner, I see no issue with venue personally, but I'd be curious to know how frequently the circumstances arise too. I'd also like to know the exact medical condition which saw it granted, but I appreciate these things are confidential for a reason - same way my medical records are confidential. Equally, I'd have liked to see the medical records on Pac's shoulder, but that's just the way these things are.
usada in their rebuttal seems to have way too much knowledge about contractual negotiations as a testing agency, their answer sb "i dont know, we just test and report" they are too deeply involved
And in all this, how does a world class athlete who never had problems making weight, suddenly dehydrates himself soooo bad after weigh-ins when during the weigh-in he showed NO SIGNS of DEHYDRATION?
The whole thing seems suspicious, and the rebuttals and back and forth dialogues between NSAC, USADA, Floyd, etc aren't doing much to provide any real confidence that everything was on the up and up. And the reason the venue seems noteworthy, is because I believe that (along with the volume of ml per 6 hour period) was something specifically detailed in the standard protocol. If it was worth including in the protocol, then surely the reasons for deviation from said protocol deserve some explaining?
