    For me, the best fights are when guys slug it out - and preferably, when somebody hits the canvas, hard. :nod

    However much they BS it, this is why most people are boxing fans.

    it is about defeating an opponent in hand to hand combat using technique, intelligence, and any physical attributes you may have been born with. it is not about avoiding defeat. not getting hit is the ideal way to accomplish that goal, it is not the goal itself.

    It's about winning, beating your opponent.

    If that means coming forward and knocking him out, or moving around defensively outpointing him so be it.

    There's no single way to skin a cat (so to speak).
