Mayweather's PPV drawing power not exactly what you might think

Starting with the Hatton fight, all of Floyds' PPV numbers are directly coordinated with the threat of and/or the popularity of the fighter he is facing. Obviously. Same with studying any fighters' PPV numbers as a headliner.

 

Here's the REAL truth. More than half of Floyd's PPV are from the fans of his opponents (Canelo Cotto and Pac). Floyd has a very low fan base and people buy his fights not to watch him but to watch his opponents. But Flow Mows think all those numbers are there because of Floyd and Floyd alone. Fact of the matter is, if Floyd fights a nobody his PPV is $h|t. Had Pac fought Berto with his exciting style and add Berto's warrior attitude he could've easily sell 750K easy. Floyd's drawing power is horrible :deal
