I think Paddy knows it coming but to start saying Groves may have mental and emotional issues that might need addressing is out of order in my opinion. That's a little too personal and may well have any other fighters thinking about employing him thinking twice.

Paddy also said Groves needs a rest, I completely agree with that, I thought he needed a long one after Froch II but he streamed on and even was managing other fighters.

It's a long way back for Groves in my opinion, he is young enough but he will have to rebuild and that will take time, it will not happen over night, he needs patience and desire, and how much of both he has will be tested to the full now.

Groves would have been world champion by now if he had stuck with Adam Booth.

Taking that Irish buffoon on as his trainer has seriously hindered his career.

GG needs to wipe the slate clean with Booth and get back with him.

Take some time out, then get back to a solid 6 months with Booth and then crack on.

Groves was starting to look like a f*cking monster under Booth. And he'd have great sparring with Lee, as well.

Groves should just swallow his pride and go back to Booth. It was a good match and could be again.

Paddy has shown his true colours and had his 5 minutes. It's time for the hat wearing charlatan to go back to training club fighters.

Oh how the tables have turned.

So it's now Groves who needs to seek out a sports phycologist.

    Karma me thinks.

I agree, out of order for him to mention mental issues etc but Groves doe's not need a 'rest'. He let a golden opportunity slip by not beating Jack but he fought well and showed a lot especially after being dropped early. It's the best Groves has looked since being KO'd the 2nd time by Froch. He's getting his mojo back and needs to fight again as soon as his body is ready to go again. It's not a long road back for him.

Unprofessional on Paddy's part to do this. He'll go back to coaching amateurs I guess.
