I think its more that they like his style and or appreciate it. So if your his opponent you better land some leather on him and make sure he doesn't touch you once or you wont win a round. Floyd is Mr. Las Vegas. He generates so much money for the city when he fights that they want to keep him winning and fighting again. I'm not sure if this is true but I had heard a while back that the MGM bought him one of those 3 Bugatti's he has and a $200,000 watch.
Yes they can but he brings in the crowds and keeps fighting at the same venue. Even though MGM owns Mandalay Bay and many other casino in Las Vegas. Nevada is a state that puts gambling above everything else. So their agenda goes with what brings in the gamblers. ****ing Floyd off isn't in their best interest. Just look how Bob Bennett gave that statement the night of the Berto fight that Floyd didn't break any rules with that TUE. When days earlier he has said different.
