Can't wait to see how Kovalev knocks him out.

    Good career move.

Theres plenty of good LHWs not involved with PBC.

There was practically nothing at 168 for him

Does that make the LHW the best division by a margin?

    I wouldn't mind Ward-Pascal but I think the big fight is Ward-Sergey

Might as well since Little G didn't want to fight. Maybe one fight against a decent opponent @175 then a fight with Kovalev?

The problem with the LHW division for Ward is that the only meaningful fights for him at 175 are Kovalev and Stevenson. No other fight will be of interest to anyone but hardcore boxing fans. At 168 you have Brits who can fill stadiums and also guys like Ramirez and Badou Jack for an event in the US. Who will he fight at 175 really? Jean Pascal?

Brits such as? He has more to choose from at LHW that at SMW before even facing Kov or Stevenson.

DeGale is a mega event, Groves will (still) be a bigger draw than anyone at LHW barring the "Big 2" next year once he re-establishes himself with a few fights, Callum Smith will soon be big in the UK. As I mentioned earlier Ramirez and Jack will be decent fights in the US. Moreover he can actually win all these fights. At 175 though, anyone in the top 10 (i.e. Beterbiev, Alvarez, Fonfara) is a big risk/low reward for Ward.

Ward vs Pascal doesn't actually sound half bad.

They have a few common opponents. (Froch, Dawson, Camou, Boone)

A Pascal SD win wouldn't be out of the question either, I've wanted to see this fight for awhile.

Kind of a poor man's Hopkins vs. Jones, actually (considering they've patterned their respective styles largely off those greats)
