Robert Filipovic will fight Konstantin Airich in his second pro fight op 11-10. On the same night Turkish Mohammed Al Zein will appear.
Someones defensive.... Irrelevant, it's still a far more competitive, and interesting matchup. I can't believe people are buying into the Joshua/Whyte hype, it will not be a competitive or interesting fight.
Which has nothing to do with what I said. Joshua-Whyte is a mismatch, both Granat and Wallin are interesting prospects with some question marks to their games, that's what makes it interesing. And give it a couple of more fights, I can easily see both of them dealing with Whyte. Btw, what's your definition of a "bum"?
I misunderstood. Might be a better fight between the Swedish heavyweights, but I doubt they will make it to the top-10/20 one day.
Not sure about Wallin yet but I think Granat will make it to top10 with the right trainer and management.
Chisora is back on the undercard of Chudinov-Buglioni. They'll chase a title eliminator with Ustinov afterwards.
Nice to see Chisora keeping busy. The division would be a lot more exciting if all of the top guys kept active, and pursued other contenders.
Wallin is trained by fomer two time champ Joey Gamach. Not sure why everyone wants to get down on young prospects, but these guys are both going to be pretty good. If Deontay Wilder can get there climbing off the canvas agianst the likes of Dustin Nichols and Harold Scoiners, then these two, who are already taking on tough veternes like Mazakin and Airsch with less than two years in the sport, are going to be fine.
"Luis Ortiz is the real deal. Not only does he have tremendous power, but he moves extremely well for a man of his size," Golden Boy CEO Oscar De La Hoya said. "If he gets past Vidondo, and captures his first heavyweight title, fights against anyone in the division -- including Wladimir Klitschko -- will be on the table."
