Thanks for your efforts. But, my point was that it was approved. I don't need to be an expert on the rules around a TUE to see that this situation will not blow up into some huge scandal, like some people are hoping for. Evidently, the reasons were acceptable to the NSAC at the time they approved it. And they have issued a statement saying they do not feel Mayweather did anything wrong. I think that's the end of the story.

In any other first world sport, this would have blown up. Anti-doping agencies are supposed to be in the practice of catching dopers, not giving them retroactive TUEs. It doesn't matter what they say, the agency broke it's own rules for an individual who essentially paid them 150K for the issuance. That is a problem for everyone. Unless you're in boxing, then hey, it's approved. Nothing to see here. Am I right?

He got a TUE because he was dirty plain and simple ! How anyone can defend this fraud is beyond me ..This is why the sport will be better off without him or his fans !

If Floyd walks around all year at 147 like he and many others say, why would he be dehydrated? And if he was dehydrated, why not sip water instead of an IV?:lol:

Also, he look 15 years YOUNGER from chopping wood?:lol::lol::lol:

A TUE applied for & granted BEFORE the treatment might have a chance of being legal but not the amount Mayweather had . Anyway they were doing the IV in secret & got caught. NSAC let them apply for permission 5 weeks AFTER the treatment was given. Only an idiot or a corrupt person would say that was not breaking the rules. They cheated got caught & NSAC is covering for them end of story

Quite possible Alex The NSAC obviously thought Manny's was when they sabotaged him & took his water & vitamins too. They gotta make sure their boy wins:patsch

nsac approved it, officially floyd did ntg wrong

but he is still a cheater

shane, roy and toney got caught cheating with no major penalties, he is still a cheater and they my n+ggas

truth is penalties for cheatinng boxers are non existent in the US

if this was not a floyd issue perse, and i asked you to forget about this issue from the fignters perspective but to cast judgement on USADA and NSAC in light of the rulebook, wud u still feel so indifferent?

I wouldn't feel different. Because, I feel and have always felt these two organizations need to work together to create a better experience for the fighters and for the betterment of the sport. It's apparent NSAC either does not have or want to dedicate the time and resources needed to oversee a more stringent testing protocol. But, they are the authority in Nevada and should have a better understanding of the rules and guidelines around WADA. That would allow them to at least be the second line of defense in ensuring fair play.

I don't equate Shane's involvment with Balco, Roy's use of an otc banned substance and Toney's use of steroids, to Floyd getting an IV. For one, they failed the simplest of p1ss tests. Shane technically never failed a test, I don't think. But, if I recall, Conte basically ratted him out.

Until NSAC or USADA change their stories or some other credible investigating agency comes out and proves it was Floyd's intent to gain an illegal edge, he's blameless in all this.

ok Eric Cartmenes, whatever you say but just watch this video below:

    https://youtu.be/rnqQhUdXgvI

if i am to translate what you wrote above, you are basically saying if you don't get caught then it is ok to cheat

i normally respect other people's opinions but since your opinions are based on a different set of moral values and principles, I am not sure if you are just saying that floyd is innocent until proven guilty or, as boxing jihadist with view so far to the left, that even if floyd/nsac clearly broke the rulebook, you are willing to misinterpret the rulebook to suit your liking

is floyd's iv gate not comparable to rjj, shane and toney? that is a matter of perspective bc while the three were caught cheating, floyd was supposedly caught cheating as per the rulebook but it appears to be brushed under the carpet by enforcing authorities which indicates a much higher level of corruption
