When Floyd struggled vs Chavez and JLC, could you believe he'd beat Oscar and Mosley?

    To be honest, I thought back then: no way Floyd has a chance against any of them. Remember, at that time Oscar and Shane were both TOP-5 P4P fighters, competing at much higher weight class.

    In 2001-2002 were you expecting Floyd to win against Da la Hoya and Mosley?

    It wasn't evident then, however.
    Floyd' ring IQ was lower in 2001-2002 than it's now, and he seemed to have some problems with lesser boxers like Jesus Chavez and Castillo

    He didn't have problems with Chavez he toyed with him he and beat the **** outta him. He hit him with so many clean counters and uppercuts I thought he might seriously injure him, that's why his corner stopped the fight it was a terrible beating. I'll give you JLC but Chavez no way.

    Well Floyd himself says it was his worst fight at 130, and I agree. He lost some rounds. Can you imagine 2004-2005 Floyd losing 1 round to Jesus Chavez? I can't. IMO Floyd significantly improved since then.

    Nah Augustus gave him a much harder fight than down there than Chavez did. PBF for the longest said that was his hardest fight and he still beat the **** outta Augustus.

    They did in the case of PBF and #48 JMM beat #48 and PBF beat both of them.:deal

    Never watched it, but heard Floyd named Augustus as harder opponent than Castillo

    Augusutus gave PBF a hard fight because PBF had come off a long lay off and he was somewhat rusty. Even still Augustus gave PBF hell and pushed him. I suggest you watch that fight it was a good s****.

    Yes it was because of the long lay off he had I think. After that fight he was back at 130.
