Historians, boxers and Ring Magazine beg to differ.

Some of y'all are truly morons.

Floyd does things only Manny could dream of doing. And he BEAT HIM EASILY.

    Y'all are a joke.

    Flo mo? C'mon man.

How is this even a debate? Pac been KTFO and lost two other times in the past 4 years. One of them to floyd.

Beyond that as far as boxing skill, Floyd showed far more diversity and ability than pac (although pac is no slouch at all and an ATG). If you look at the way Floyd modified his game throughout the years-- from being an offensive beast to a defensive stalwart who did most of his work in the pocket. I can't see how you could in any way give pac the edge.

Ray Robinson lost 19 times. So by your logic less losses means your greater. That is wrong.

I don't think Morales was on the downside much at all during the first Pacquiao fight. Actually the 3rd Barrera fight was technically superior to the first Barrera fight.

Funny you detract from Pacquiao for beating Morales because he was in decline. Which in the final 2 fights he was clearly declined. So I hear you on that one. Yet Pacquiao himself was clearly declined by the 4th Marquez fight himself. Yet you somehow give Marquez credit for knocking out an over the hill Pacquiao. Can't have it both ways.

Pac fights exciting, PBF boring as his fans, that sums it up. The so called ppv king actually a queen, lol less than 400k ppv. Pathetic.

Also Rumsfeld. Sasakul and Ledwaba were easily the #1 guys in their weight class and Pacquiao knocked them both out.

And Ricky Hatton was as well, but I was responding to abuffy and merely recapping the opponents specifically named in the post I was replying to. And of those names listed, only MAB was genuinely viewed as the #1 guy in his division.

Ok. In that context that makes more sense.

Also if you really examine it look at what Pacquiao did as far as competition.

112- Knocked out top 15 flyweight ever. Top guy in the division too.
122- Knocked out clear #1 man. Borderline HOF'er.
126- Knocked out one of the greatest fighters ever. Drew with another ATG
130- Lost 7 rounds to 5 to one of the greatest fighters ever. Beat Marquez.
    135- Meh
140- Knocked Hatton. Possible HOF'er. Beat Bradley, HOF'er. Both near prime.
    147- Cotto impressive, but overrated.
    154-Meh

As far as resume/greatness is concerned this is a clear advantage to Pacquiao. It's a landslide.

H2H talent like I said is debatable.
