I rate May #33, Pac at #34. I feel Pac has the better resume from earlier in his career, but Mayweather pulled out a very very respectable later career. I think they'll always be tied together though, right next to each other. Two very very special fighters and all time greats. It's gonna be sad to see them go

Except one was caught using an IV before the fight. I don't think they can be quite so close given that.

I'm going with Pacquiao for the same reason I rank JMM higher than Bradley.

Better resume and would have won in his prime.

And because Floyd is obviously on the juice.

Nothing in Floyd's resume would equal beating Barrera twice, Morales twice and JMM twice.
    - seven (or eight) division world champion
    - four lineal titles in different weight classes (having won it from Sasakul, Barrera, Marquez and Hatton)
    - multiple fighter of the year, fight of the year and fighter of the decade accolades.
    - notable wins over Ledwaba, Bradley and Cotto.

Floyd is busted. He's a known cheat. His (fake) name doesn't belong in the polls with great boxers like Pac and others. He can be in a poll with Lance Armstrong, Ben Johnson and other known cheats as to who was the worse cheater.

The same people who voted Manny fighter of the decade, also voted on their ATGs. Floyd was ranked higher than Manny.

You're right. The answer is obvious...

It's all about achievements when it comes to the ATG ranking and that's how it's supposed to be. This is why Pacquiao easily wins the vote.

floyd is not even an atg fighter. the corrupt judges are needed to build his resume. atg's win great fights with acceptable results and not disputable judgements and without questionable fights like floyd-judah (judah was choked and seemed threatened in the ring and his game changed) and floyd-ortiz(sucker punched for the ko, very unusual for an atg to do most especially with a very lower level opponent).

I got Mayweather on this one. Floyd beats guys coming off big wins or impressive performances, Manny beats guys come off devastating losses or debatable decisions.

Floyd has legitimately beaten the #1 rated fighter or divisions true champ at least 2x in 4/5 divisions, is tied for most Lineal titles all time(with Manny), has the most champion beaten all time, and has been P4P rated since 99".

Manny imo has better names(he fought a lot of former greats coming off beat downs) Floyd has the better resume(more top fighters coming off big wins).

Hopefully the new generation brings some fighters who can live up to both Manny and Floyd.

Hey dummy how many buys did #48 have against Rios and Algeri? PBF still did more vs Berto than he did with those two.:hi:

It's not debatable PBF beat him H2H and never lost, PBF was more skilled hands down he was less flawed. #48 can't even cut off the ring or make real adjustments and has had over 50 fights:lol::rofl He went life and death with JMM for 4 fights and never beat JMM clearly if you can't beat JMM clearly then you're not better than PBF period.:deal

You're high if you think #48 is more skilled than PBF when they fought you saw the difference in skill level. People on here don't know **** about boxing and are haters this has been proven for years to be the case. Historians boxers and the Ring all rank PBF higher I think I'll take their word over a bunch of bitter PBF haters who still lose sleep at night from what happened on May 2nd thank you.

Pacquiao is the greater fighter, with the better resume and the actual respect and love from the fans

Floyd is a coward who cherrypicked, bribed and roided his way to supers****om

This right here is what I've been trying to tell people the same group who voted #48 the fighter of the decade later ranked PBF as the 12th best fighter since WW2 this was before PBF-#48 and #48 wasn't even ranked. PBF is the better fighter historically he was undefeated never knocked down on top the sport for 18 years and only lost a handful of rounds in his prime. Meanwhile #48 in his prime was getting outboxed by a past it Erik Morales and going life and death with JMM how in the hell can you be ranked higher when you've lost are less skilled and lost H2H? Only on ESB that's how, where PBF haters rule the day and Pac****s run wild.:rofl
