Could every fighter be TBE and win the same way as floyd does? :think

Is ruslan prodovnikov and floyd mayweather only a choice of style away from each other? :think

    :think

If it was that easy then everyone would do it . You think being able to fight at all ranges with ATG defense and a ATG ring IQ is easy it's much easier to do what Ruslan does.:deal

Only in sports can a man "work" for less then 1 hour, make more than 90 percent of the population, and have people say "That man is FIGHTING FOR HONOR"

I do think that quick and fast individuals like Mayweather can be taught to be defensive and have sucesss at a high level.

Sure defensive A level fighters like Mayweather and Whitaker have skill, but I think most overrate their pure boxing skill as I don't think either Mayweather of Whitaker would be A level fighters without their well above average speed and quickness.

If either Mayweather or Whitaker had just average quickness and speed, they'd be just that, average fighters that against many fighters that have achieved greatness without great speed, would be sitting ducks.

The point being that you cant fight like Mayweather and Whitaker without having natural speed and quickness. Their type of defense requires speed and quickness and if you don't have it you wont succeed at a high level with that type of style.

it seemed to depend on the judges and referees. there are still contested aspects of judging that are being abused in the current system. some judges favor some styles. but not all fans want defensive style with lots of hugging and running winning a boxing contest.

It's not an unbeatable style, it's just done well (good timing and reflexes) in a weight division where one or two punch KO power is lacking.

Pacquiao caught Mayweather many times clean, but did not really hurt him.

This. People should find a style that naturally fits their physical abilities.
