The acts of the British fans were dispicable to me. I'm not here to diss any fan base here though.

If a clear ko win can be so hated by attendence, what about a decision or even worse, a close but clear decision?

I'm assuming that promoters would be afraid to take a non British fighter there afterwards, as it might be a stage to rob the said fighter.

But did it? Did hagler/Minter scare promoters away at all?

they should have imposed a beer limit at that one, that's for sure.

but you can get classless fans at venues anywhere. Remember the Bowe fans trying to assault Golota after the first Bowe fight. And Bowe won the fight.

IMO simply a blip on the radar screen. I can only assume that a number of 'medicated' racist's or semi-racist's' who saw Minter as a CLEAR top flight bad-a** attended that fight. As I said simply a blip. However, I was impressed by the British 'bobbies' who surrounded Marvin like a shell, and led him out of the arena. :good

It was actually a TKO - 3 on a cut eye, funnily enough much like the result Klitchko fans are stilling have problems accepting 12 years later.:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl LMFAO.
