Enzo-Roy = Fun, just because you there will be a KO, hopefully it's not Roy, poor guy needs to catch a break. Ramirez-Bellew will be hilarious. Drozd-Makabu, Glowacki-Kudryashov, Afolabi-Chakhiev.. OMG, AMAZING. Edit: Confused the Krysztofs.
IB where did you get Kudryashov vs Glowacki from? Dima is rated #2 in the WBC and his opponent is #4 so he recently dropped down a couple spots in the WBO which now has Usyk, Huck, Bellew, Gevor in the top 4 spots.
Yeah, that's why I put it as pending/unofficial. I just know their promoters were discussing it for early next year...but obviously if Kudra is upset by Duro then it kind of nixes those plans.
Well maybe not to you but to a lot of the other more reactionary people on here they might think so. Roy has power against bums lately but he hasn't come close to stopping even a B Level opponent in years, so I still give the lummox a big chance. As far as Kudryashov goes, he was rumored to have gone down in his first match against Ohkrei but I've seen it and Boxrec got it wrong it was the other guy that went down not Kudryashov, but I think Glowacki has a damn good chin, probably much better than Merero and could possibly take him into very deep waters and test to see if there are any chinks in it. Drozd is also a little easier to hit clean than Mchunu which might be his downfall, but it could go either way IMO.
The Rock is more naturally slippery (and has the diminutive stature actually working in his favor, making opponents have to reach down for him with their punches) but Drozd has IMO a more scientific & crafty D and higher ring IQ.
Glowacki has a good chin but he was visibly very hurt multiple times against Huck (who is a hard hitter so that's no shame), however, Kudryashov's power is on another level, let's be clear. Kudryashov can knock him out. Still, Glowacki I think can win... With movement. Kudryashov is quite plodding and Glowacki has pretty fast feet, he needs to employ movement as much as possible.
There should be a betting parlay on the over/under in Cieslak vs. Cox & Jones vs. Macca - say, 5.5 rounds combined over both matches?
I'm wondering if the plan is to match Arslan up with JC Gomez after Delic (as that will give them a recent common opponent) That's a fun crossroads match, where the loser's basically done.
Between Vys and myself, definitely. We both have banged the drum for Usyk since at least the London games.
Of all ten matches listed in the OP, even the ones I'm least excited about still rate 'pretty damn exciting'. :deal
