He may very well be uncomfortable. Not about the thought of fighting Fury, but rather being in the room with him. Wlad tries to conduct business professionally, and Fury is the exact opposite, a loon that comes running in wearing a batman costume. The guy is wack.

I do not think I've seen anything that insane at a press conference before, I thought I was having a really bad acid flashback. I actually think Fury wants Wladimir to think he is genuinely insane, a complete lunatic, to try and unsettle him, I believe Fury thinks unpredictability will not sit well with Wladimir who sounds like a very logical thinker. That little outburst about being called a "clown", Fury let rip with his voice, offered to fight Wladimir then and there, started taking his jacket off, he wanted to look on the edge. Looked all a little pre planned. Personally I do not think it will work with Wladimir. One thing that I heard Fury say today that got my attention was about the gloves Wladimir has insisted on and put in the contract, they are both wearing pillows by the sound of it I find that surprising. Wladimir obviously believes he is going to get hit.
Fury isn't known as a huge puncher...perhaps it's about something else, such as Wlad wanting to protect his hands? Who knows....just saying that there are many possible reasons to want a specific glove.

Or it could be that after years and years of boxing, he wants to protect his hands to avoid injury to them and prolong his career. How funny is it going to be when Fury gets dropped and stopped from extra padded gloves?
The Gypsy Sloth Batman was wonderful. More fighters should take the WWE approach before they fight. I expect Waldo to hug Fury to death, per usual. If Fury laid some hands on Waldo's glass jaw and got lucky and shattered it, it would be a wonderful thing (if not unfamiliar) to see.

I'm a huge fan of Wlad, but Fury is hilarious. If Wlad weren't around I would want Fury to be the champ.
