Domination over Nonito > close fight with Estrada

    I said over-rated, not overrated!

Gonzalez has more fights against better competition overall.

I actually think Chocolatito could beat Rigondeaux and with relative ease

Domination over Niida, Takayama, Yaegashi, Sosa, Rodriguez, Hirales-Gacia and a relatively close win over Estrada>>>>>Domination over Nonito, struggle with Cordoba, struggle with Amagasa

He didn't struggle with Amagasa come on, he completely dominated him save for that one instance.

Cordoba, maybe but I didn't think it was that close to be honest, I had it 116-110, some difficulty but he won quite handily that fight as well.

Being dropped twice was a tiny bit of a struggle, even if Rigondeaux won all the other rounds, I thought the Cordoba fight was close to a draw personally...oh and I forgot he was wobbled, several times, by Marroquin as well...

Okay maybe "struggled" with Amagasa was a little over-the-top but he still looked less than a top P4P fighter against a drained and limited Asian level guy (who was lucky to have even been OPBF champion going in to that bout)

No, you cannot be ranked higher with only 15 fights.

Rigondeaux is (with mayweather if he can be taken into account) the best boxer now, but he lacks of fights and because of that nobody can rank him on the top of the list.

Yes Roman is only an inch shorter and has fought at 116 and has rehydrated up to 127 before, Rigo has fought as low as 119, so to say that its out of the realm of possibility based on size that's not the case, and if Amagasa can land clean and hurt him Chocolatito can and most likely with greater ease so its not that much of a stretch.

I don't think it will either....but if it does.. Roman's got more than a decent chance.

I don't see why a guy can't be ranked highly with few fights. If Inoue keeps up his impressive opposition and in the next 3 years goes 6-0 against Carmona/Parrenas [Mandatory], Cuadras, Kono/Kameda winner, Gonzalez, Yamanaka and Rigondeaux (for example) he'd be 14-0 and have one of the best resumes in boxing...I know it's not likely to happen but it "can"

These guys knocking Gonzalez probably have seen two of his fights tops. Quit being so arrogant and idiotic and actually watch the guys fights. I love Rigo, I'm all for that style of Boxing, but Gonzalez is arguably the greatest "small" boxer of all time

Too soon for that kind of nonsense. As of now he still stands behind
Finito Lopez. But CHocolatito is great and is headed in that direction.
