Ali if Tyson doesn't get him in the first 5 rounds. Ali can outpoint him, even get a very ko but if Tyson wins it will be the 1988 Larry Holmes fight replay

Tyson would win this easily and not even break a sweat in doing so ,if this was a fair fight it would be 95 Tyson straight out of prison vs 74 Ali that beat Foreman, then maybe Ali wins..."maybe".

Tyson destroys Ali and probably easily as in most of his wins.
A fight between Tyson and any version of Ali or Holmes wud risembl Tyson's f8 vs Holmes and may have lasted iven shorter.
A more foul and effective cheater, harder puncher, better schooled and smarter.
Should have contained a public poll, alas I know who would have won z poll.

Ali wins from the moment the fight is announced. He would ridicule that pathetic female pitched lisping voice to his audience. Tyson would be living in crack houses within two weeks terrified of being seen in public such would be the effect of Ali humiliating the weak minded cretin.

As for the fight itself. Its Douglas / Tyson all over again but quicker.

For once I'll take this over the half baked opinions of his idiot nut hugging fanboys.

I usually take fighters' comments with a pinch of salt. Tyson at 20 was much better than Ali at 20. As to the match up discussed, I tend to agree with you in that Ali would get into Tyson's head and stay there.

Tyson has physical abilities to trouble Ali and would probably hurt him early, but Ali would fool him into thinking he wasn't badly hurt; once that happens Tyson would begin to lose heart. Tyson's only hope is a quick KO and I really don't see that happening.

Mike Tyson was devasting against lesser talented fighters. But no version of Tyson would´ve stood a chance against the 1967 version of Ali. Tyson put fear in to his opponents even before the first punch was thrown - but fear would only sharpen Ali´s reflexes. Mentally Tyson would break down by hitting the air and getting punished by Ali. And Tyson would lose on a 8 round KO.

Good to see some understanding on this thread that the youtube doesn't show you the mental part of the fight.

Ali is one of the most mentally tough fighters ever, and a master of getting inside an opponent's head. Tyson is a bully who looked for a way out when things didn't go his way ... and they wouldn't be going his way here.

You couldn't be more wrong, tyson thrived on being motivated, just ask Marvis Frazier when his dad called Tyson overatted and an average fighter right before the fight,or when Holmes told him he couldn't carry his jock strap like he said about Marciano,or when he punished Biggs for smirking at him at the air port and saying hes going back on the plane when he gets defeatted.and when spinks manager accussed him of loading his gloves..Alis mouth is the reason Tyson would win this no doubt.

One thing to favor Tyson and to work against Ali is the fact he never faced a finisher like Tyson. Once Tyson had you hurt, he would finish the job ruthlessly. Ali has been dropped around 2-3 times in his prime, that will be suicide against a fighter like Tyson unless he is saved by the Bell. Just ask Holmes (whose recoverability abilities are like second to none and as much as his heart and courage allowed him to get up 2 times but even he could not survive that 1 minute of onslaught).

But if this fight goes beyond the 6th or 7th round then Ali takes this. Tyson's only chance is to get him out of there early.

If it goes beyond 6 ,Ali would need a k.o,that wouldn't look to good considering he would have ate many power shots and his k.o percentage knocking big Hw's out,he couldn't even k.o frazier in 15 twice, tyson was no Foreman he was always in excellent condition and never tired to the point he was throwing wild haymaykers.

Fair point. Another point is that ali never met an accurate puncher like Tyson. It's one thing to do the rope a dope against a dumb wild Foreman and another thing against an accurate Tyson.
