Pac gives to the people of his country because he's a politician, he has something to gain from it. I'm not saying he isn't genuine, I just wouldn't use that in an argument.

Apprently you know how much each of them give to charity? Lol Listen, neither of them are saints but Manny is obviously the lesser of 2 evils. If Floyd was such a stand up guy, he would be full of endorsements, he is after all at the top of the game and is undefeated. There's a reason major companies don't want him under their brand, no one wants to be affiliated with him, hardly anyone wants him as a spokesperson. For everything thats he's done you'd think endorsers like Coke, Pepsi, Nike etc would be lining up at his door but how many products do you see him affiliated with? You can argue he doesn't need their money but that isn't the issue, the main issue is everyone knows he's a great boxer but aside from that he's publicly viewed as a $hitty person.

Long before Manny was a politician, he was already known to be very helpful around the community. People literally lined up at his house every morning and he would sit outside giving them money. Yes, now that he is a politician he has something to gain from the exposure of being helpful and generous, but a part of the reason people voted for him in the first place was because he already generous long before he had aspirations in politics.

 

Not that I am equating the character of the two by any means but how many endorsements did Ali have back in the day? Not many as I recall. I think it is easier for the American public to deal with the persona of a humble Asian man than an angry Black man. Not that I would want Mayweather to endorse any product that I was pushing because of his "Money Mayweather" persona. Just my opinion.
