Can't help but wonder seeing as the 33-1 Pole whos only defeat was a Blitzkrieg against Povetkin is on the Wilder bill

...but so are Charles Martin and Dominic Breazeale, so they could just as easily be setting up Wilder vs. either of them? :think

I told you guys this before. Wawrzyk is suddenly ranked #20 in WBC by beating a 5-50 bum and he will be ranked in top 15 after his fight with Sheppard. Wilder-Wawrzyk is next if both guys win this night.

Yes but why is Wawrzyk of all people on this bill? It's a little obscure and out of left field, plus he fits the bill of a Wilder opponent

Assuming he gets passed Johann Dohelpus

How many hours away roughly is Wilder vs Duhaupas?

Also can't imagine them risking Wilder against somebody as high risk low reward as Martin, unless Martin is making waves stateside?

Only among die hard boxing nerds, which you're correct has no bearing on his risk/reward factor. He's about the most potentially disastrous top 15 US heavyweight they could possibly stick Wilder in with, actually. :yep

It would get Wilder the respect from boxing snobs that he's been lacking - but something tells me they're not suddenly concerned about that over keeping the money tree watered and pruned. :!:

Breazeale, however, they could sell as Olympian vs. Olympian and casuals would just shrug and gobble it up...

And Breazeale seems more flawed than Martin. That Cuban Consuegra landed his combinations at will until the stopage.

Way more flawed. I'd feel very confident picking Martin over Breazeale h2h.
